Submerge is back!

The Submerge strand of the event is aimed at young, new and emerging artists looking to create and display artwork on a public platform through a mentored commission in collaboration with the East Riding Visual Arts Uplift.

The experience allows artists to go through all the elements of concept to creation with the support of the event management, production teams and further contractors where required to ensure the piece is showcasing the best the artist has to offer.

Nicholas Wright

This installation is an extension of previous work in the form of a semi abstract installation created as an inference of how waves break on the shore line, The simple use of geometric forms combined with the use of paint to infer water based movement. These painterly sculptural installations, are Nicholas’ personal investigations into a mixture and merging of the three artistic disciplines. This is combined with a long term fascination for our own connection to the landscape.
